Pyro Nomad gained his cutie mark (The purple flame) from messing around a bit with some fire and causing some... Unfortunate events which he eventually took into his stride. He may be no unicorn but he sure can use fire to his own extent. His power source is unknown to all except him... People do think it has something to do with the wisp of purple form his odd coloured eye.

A feisty stallion, he's never one to back down from trouble and prides himself with keeping his friends safe... Although sometimes he can be corrupt and evil, but that's another story which you will learn about in the future
