I wish my older brother watched cartoons with me but he only watches the mature adult ones like Family Guy or South Park. When I told him I was a brony he made gay jokes about me and all other bronies being gay. We still love each other though so everything is ok.

I enjoyed that movie the first time I saw it. Was odd and a sideways look at the superhero genre. It did not stand up to multiple viewings.

I even heard it got good reviews...

But I feel the director's camera angles are always awkward, and the constant silence of the movie tends to get on my nerves. And that ending? What an anti-climax, I gotta say...*Face palm*

Sorry, Weesh, but that's just my opinion.

Religion, in all sense, is belief. All individuals have a belief in something. Whether it be a belief in monotheism, paganism, atheism, good, bad, or apple pie.

It's what drives us to think the way we think and act the way we act!

So you've just pointed out quite a relevant factor indeed!

Who knows? Maybe we're only seeing the ponies that praise the Princesses, when there could be a population that actually praise another powerful being, like Discord, but are too far off and or are taboo to even talk about in Equestria.

Now I wouldn't say I 'gave up' anything, really. The only difference is my schedule patterns have sort of...changed and gotten a little more crowded due to brony activities...

Without a doubt the community is large and diverse with many people who like the show for many different reasons...it's understandable that some may use the 'Brony' card as a shield and means of bugging everyone else, due to getting the impression that the rest of society is out to get Bronies, when they're most likely not. Some just don't watch the show or aren't aware of it, or have different tastes.
