The stranger hissed "Know your place, worm! Watch your tongue, or I will do more than put a bullet in your back!" He gripped her head, and wrenched the bat from her hands. His hands burned like a forge.

Balinor answered "Shalid was that hooded woman. She is one of the fabled Guardians, and travels through time, destroying threats to Equestria."

Balinor replied "You saw a hooded mare, right?"

Balinor's eyes opened wide. "So THAT's what Shalid meant...."

Balinor patted her back, attempting to comfort her. "I have seen it many times. It is a warfare spell, and used for turing enemies against each other." He said solemnly, kissing Zero on the cheek.

The stranger looked at the CP, and said "Begone." He then turned to Bat, and said "Let me see that wound."

"Yes. Ancient magic, it is..."

"But you weren't. If you were, I could tell."

"A courageous move." Balinor commented.

Balinor checked his sword, then looked at Zero with a smile. "Tell me more about your time. Well, yourself."

Balinor looked at the two, with a look of boredom. "You missed this patch? I work for Civil Protection. There is a reason we're feared." (Mind if I use a second OC?) At that point, another stranger walked in. This one looked human, and wore a dark hooded cloak. The hood kept his face hidden, and he was unarmed. "Civil Protection. Corrupted Pricks is what CP really stands for." The stranger said darkly, slowly walking towards Balinor, whose face first flushed with anger, then drained of all color as he realized who the stranger was. "Sh-Shalidor! I thought you dead!" Balinor stammered in fright. He dropped his weapons backing away. "Dead? I am a Sorcerer, you fool!" The stranger said maliciously.

Balinor stroked Zero's mane, and said "It is."

Balinor let Zero get comfortable, and smiled.

Balinor may be CP, but he was more sensible than others. He took aim, and shot Bat square in the back, saying "Nobody shoves you? Nobody talks to me that way, and just walks away unscathed." He stayed in place, seeing as how he did not need to chase anyone when he could shoot from a distance. He made sure Bat was still alive, but made sure she was in pain.

He nodded, and said "You're right." He kissed her back, and put a foreleg around her.

Balinor focused his Druidic eyes on Bat, and said "How about you make me?" He said. A CP patch was visible on his right shoulder. Civil Protection had a tendency to kill without reason. "Stirring up a nest of hornets, you are." He said, getting up to his full height and shoving Brown Bat. The sword sparked with electricity, and he pulled out a pistol, about to take the shot. He waited a few seconds, then smiled and pulled her up. "Sorry about the hostilities. But the CP meet fire with flames." He said half jokingly.

Mandaline stood there, a look of unamusement crossing her face. "Very well. It'll be your problem. Dont expect to leave unscathed, though." She says, pulling the trigger. She had nailed one in the chest, wounding an artery. The other, however, she could not do much. Nit without getting close.

Balinor flushed slightly, and said "Never have I thought it possible for me to be in this position."

Balinor nodded, and gave a smile.

Balinor chuckled. "For a second, I thought you were trying to start something else"

Balinor saw Brown Bat, and drew his weapon, expecting trouble. The sword was bloodstained, and was in need of cleaning.

Mandaline was confused, and said "What is going on?"

Balinor smiled, and said "You trying to pop my neck?"

Balinor shrugged. "We have been sitting here all morning."

Balinor looked around, checking for any trouble. His duty as a guard left him constantly on the lookout.
