StrongCopper Posted September 17 Report Share Posted September 17 King 'Scarecrow' Phobiaus, the Changeling King of Fear, has recently awoken from his latest hibernation nap in his lair in Bridlewood only to discover that tensions have considerably lessened among pony kind. That cold war feeling in the air that he actively promoted has warmed... and that is a problem that needs to be fixed. I'm putting this thread out to see if there was anyone interested in getting involved in a slightly wider storyline for Gen 5. Phobiaus isn't an idiot; He knows ponies well enough to know that they will naturally herd against an outside threat and he is a swarm of one. It's much more fun and effective to have them turn on each other... and that's going to require developing some pony patsies among the tribes. Outside of causing chaos and discord while leaving evidence that it was one of the other tribes that did it (even better if he can convince some actual ponies to actually do it), Phobiaus' grand plan is to promote the idea of the reunification of Equestria among the tribes... but that the movements are littered with somewhat poisonous seeds that would cause distrust and paranoia among the tribes, as well as friction and infighting as each movement has their own ideal of what the reformed Equestria should look like. Prime example: Going to the unicorns of Bridlewood and promoting their movement of unification with the idea that since since unicorns were the ruling class of the old Equestria and they, out of all the tribes, suffered and endured the most due to the loss of magic, they should rightfully return to their place leading ponykind once more. With a sprinkling of 'Considering how well the Earth Ponies and Pegasi did during the loss of magic, if we let the dominate the government, we might just become a lower class afterthought'.
