Her tail is cut short because she likes keeping it easy to manage.Eye Color: Sunrise has mismatched eyes, her left eye is yellow and the right eye is orange.Cutie Mark: a sunrise red carrotSunrise's cutie mark represents a love of her family and her family's business. When she was a little filly she wasn't fully in charge of the business end of her parent's carrot farm but she helped out as much as she could. After lots of pleading and convincing she finally got her parents to let her prove herself. Although they kept an eye on her, they allowed her to manage all of the business on her own for a little while. She turned out to be better at it than her parents were, and the day they officially handed over the real responsibilities to her she got her cutie mark!Physique: Sunrise stands a few inches taller than her brother Carrot, she's much slimmer than a stallion and her extra height is almost all in her legs. She tends to feel like she towers over other mares and her extra height makes her a little self conscious around stallions, especially ones who are shorter than her (which is a lot of them!). She has mismatched eyes, she's never met another pony with eyes like hers. She also wears little half moon reading glasses most of the time, especially while doing paperwork at her desk.Residence: The Carrot family farm outside of PonyvilleOccupation: Sunrise handles the business aspect of the family carrot farm, she is much handier with paperwork and management than she is out in a field.Motivation: Sunrise’s first priority is her family, she loves knowing that her little sister and brother are well taken care of and happy. After her family her main motivation is her love of taking care of the farm.Likes:- helping out with the family business- carrots- reading- watching the sun rise/set- her brother and sister- being independent- cooking- mint teaDislikes:- loud noises- getting dirty- not knowing where her brother or sister are- a messy houseCharacter Summary:Sunrise recently moved out to Ponyville to help her little brother and sister Carrot Fields and Purple Haze run their carrot farm. Running their own farm has been an adventure for all 3 of the siblings because before this they lived in Fet Loch with their parents. This is a completely new experience for Sunrise, because she's always had her parents to fall back on at home, but now she's the oldest member of her family in the area. All three of the Carrot siblings have their own special talents and by working together they keep everything running smoothly. Unlike her siblings, Sunrise isn't a big fan of working out in the fields and getting dirty, she likes running the business. Sunrise does most of the paperwork and handles all of the stuff most ponies find boring.Ever since she was a little filly Sunrise hasn't liked getting dirty or muddy, she's liked reading and writing. At first her parents were frustrated, they kept trying to get her to go play outside and get dirty with her siblings. She tended to be shy around her parents because they kept trying to force her to do things she didn't like. After a while they realized she was pretty good at handling business and started teaching her how to run a farm. Once her parents stopped trying to force her to do things she didn't like she opened up a lot and stopped being so shy. Sunrise loves spending her free time curled up on the couch with a good book. She'll read almost anything she can get her hooves on and loves finding books she's never seen before. The Ponyville library is one of her favorite places in town, and ever since Twilight Sparkle moved in there have been a lot more interesting books. What does she do to relax? Howabout things she daydreams about? Does she ever think about that lonely-looking stallion down at the market? Or maybe has the hots for a farmboy in a neighboring farm?
